BRAEYDEN
I brought my new puppy with me to herding classes. He was 10 weeks
old. The herding instructor asked if she could show him sheep for the
first time. I did not realize she would let him down on the ground. Oh
No, I thought my puppy was a goner. To my surprise, he reacted so
BOLD & BRAVE. He was not afraid of the sheep at all. As he stood out
in that field I realized I had to name him something meaning BRAVE -
Braeyden - the perfect name
At 11 mos old Braeyden’s show career got started. He won Winners
Dog 3 out of 4 days for the points and won 2 - Puppy Group 1’s. The
next show he won his first Best of Breed from the puppy class over
the Special. Him & I were doing good but, we needed to find majors.
Braeyden’s first major was in Pensacola, a 5 point major, beating 2
Specials for BOS. This year at the Kentucky Circuit Braeyden earned
a 4 point Major and he was Reserve Winner at the Kentuckiana Tartan
Border Collie Club Specialty. He came back South to finish his
Championship in Biloxi, Miss this May. He was 16 mos old.
Thank you - Heidi Schramm Laskowski of Hot Shot Kennels for our
beautiful Choc Chill grandson. And to Kim Peacock for your help in
training & showing our Braeyden, aka
CH Hot Shot The Reignmaker WLS.
