| June 27,2009 At the present time we are experiencing a heat wave along with a drought in southern Louisiana. Record setting highs in the 100's are being recorded. And recently temperatures reached 106 Fahrenheit. Needless to say the dogs are not spending a lot of time in the exercise yard. Shanghai & Tinker want to sit on the sofa in the air conditioning all day. Braeyden & Glory splash in their kiddie pool in the run.The others just lay around on top of their dog houses. The pond is off limits till we get some rain because the water is muggy looking. Oh I know what the meaning is The Dog Days of Summer. |
Since we have finished all our conformation dogs, we are taking a
break from showing for the summer. Construction is resuming on
our kennels
( new pictures will be posted soon.) And in the meantime, we are
enjoying our leisure time here at Wilsong.
